Backstage and out the door, there was something powerfully liberating about moving between spaces without being noticed. Frank knew this, Ray knew this, and Gerard most definitely knew this for a fact. He’d been the one to orchestrate what seemed to be a meeting of the minds, minus one Mikey Way. The other two could tell something was up from his absence alone. There was also the fact that Gerard’s body language was something they were both fluent in.

Ray chuckles and sits down in front of him, rearranging his hair from where it's plastered in tendrils on his sweaty forehead. "That'd be a fun phone call. Babe, come on. Let's just call the fire department."
"We could tell them you got locked out," Frank says, "They've got the jaws of life and shit." He sits down next to Ray.
"So, um, I really don't want them to see me with a raging hard-on, is the thing," Gerard says, slowly turning redder and redder.
