Dave is a total wreck. He’s holding Karkat’s head in both hands like he’s the most precious thing in the world, kissing like this is going to be their one and only chance. Karkat feels Dave shiver, and the next thing he’s aware of is Dave’s tongue in his mouth...
Continuing Epilogue 7, Meat 38, from where Dirk had the decency to stop, Dave and Karkat kiss and do a bit more in the dimly lit room. The television may or may not still be on in the background but that's not important just keep your eyes on the Davekat.
The Homestuck Epilogues take place 7 years after the end of the original series, where they're adults, so Dave is like 23 and Karkat is the alien equivalent.

“This is a type of plant commonly used by the vastaya to prolong or manipulate heat cycles. It's an incredibly strong aphrodisiac.” Sett explained.

It’s too beautiful of a thing to not exist. My Ma said it's like that for everything, in the legend or whatever.”
“And me?”
“Wonder if you're the same as the other Phel’s out there. I mean, you can’t get cuter, can you?” Aphelios blushed. Sett grinned. “Nah, you’re this perfect in each universe. I know it.”

Summary
Every time Sett sets out into the realm of the living for the Spirit Blossom festival, he’s reminded just how amazing Aphelios is. On the first day of the festival, Sett always makes sure that he’s there to watch Aphelios tear the daytime into the night, the once bright fabric of the sky being torn into the dark void of night. It’s beautiful. It’s enough to make Sett understand the Akana a bit more, why they dwell on matters of the living realm so obsessively. Even more so, it makes Sett long to invite Aphelios out to the festival.

Harbouring a passion for cybernetics, Aphelios had always had a plan.
First was to craft a synthetic body to implant his conciousness into.
Second was to craft a body for Alune, giving her a physical form once more.
Finally, show humans that synthetic humans are not just mindless machines.Nowhere in that plan did Aphelios expect to meet a bounty hunter known as The Boss. But sure enough, when Sett showed up on his door, bleeding and hardly concious, Aphelios had no choice but to help.
And for the first time in decades, encountered with a flesh and blood human, Aphelios wondered if he truly was just a machine.
