It’s almost instantaneous as when a dimension takes a sudden turn for the worst and buckles in on itself rapidly.
I mean, if you think about it, watching your daughter- whether she be yours, or yours from said dimension that you infiltrate just for a scrap of shocking serotonin -glitch violently in your arms and is screaming your name can do certain things to a person. Like changing them.

Summary
After an altercation leaves Steve teetering on the edge of a drop, he starts to question his Omega status. Though, a rumour has it that a creature is lurking in the woods of the Loc Nora neighbourhood snags Steve’s attention.
Meanwhile over on Cherry lane, the Hargrove Mayfield family are under the investigation of Hawkins PD for the disappearance of Billy Hargrove. Max and The Party quickly take matters into their own hands, which of course is just another thing he would have to jam into what Robin so sheepishly during a conversation had called his “Pandora’s box of things Steve can’t handle”.

Steve Harrington was a lot of things, an asshole? Sure. Babysitter? One hundred precent. Vampire? Hell yes. A good boyfriend? Not so much, well maybe the whole Nancy Wheeler situation was a one time thing- moving right along-
The one thing that always seemed to stick to the vampire, was clumsy, and boy did he see it now that he was falling down old rickety cabin steps face first into dirt. How in the hell had he forgotten there was questionably built stairs on a hunting cabin in the middle of nowhere you ask?
It probably had to do with the two to three hundred something pound half werewolf half demogorgon hybrid thing that was currently biting down on his calf and yanking him up those said steps with enough force the vampire was sure his femur was going to pop out of his hip socket.

Steve’s eyes flickered up to the red head across the makeshift bed. She was tending to a cut on Robin’s forehead, gently dabbing at the wound with a damp gauze pad. He bit his lip, tossing around the idea of letting Max know he knew about her brother being the Alien Imposter on board.
He sighed and looked back down at his stitch work, his left hand had a slight shake from where he held the clamp that was holding the curved needle. The silk sutures were holding up pretty okay, he was about halfway through the gash on her thigh. She had passed out from blood loss by the time he made it back to O2, Max and Johnathan had already reset her leg. It was a sloppy splint job, but it did the work. Though Steve wouldn’t know if the breaks would heal properly until he got her x-rays done. He continued on with his suturing.
“Yep,” Steve could see Max tense up from his peripheral. “Don’t worry, I haven’t said anything to anyone. Nor do I plan on it.”

When Billy dies; He doesn’t go anywhere.
Well, not that he really believes in that type of thing. He remembers standing in front of the Shadow, the pain it inflicted upon him, the feeling of choking on his own blood, and whatever gunk that was in him. He remembers seeing Max, she was on the verge of tears, she probably cried when he finally died. He knows he’s dead, he’s not really sure how he knows it’s just a feeling in his chest. He just knows, he thinks it might have something to do with the fact when he opened his eyes he’s sitting on the floor of a phone booth. Well, the phone booth next to the steelworks building. He’s curled up against the glass, phone hanging beside his head, no sound coming out of the receiver that swings gently. He knows it wasn’t a dream, he knows he’s dead. He’s tired but oddly relieved.

“It’s nice to finally put a face, or mask, to the name! You are much shorter in real life!” Lucifer was not going to like this guy, was he?

Lucifer was heavily scarred during his fall from heaven. And not just mentally. So he hides his face at every moment possible. No one in hell has seen the entirety of his scars.
This annoying red guy seems to be trying to change that last statement, however.

Summary
Keeping the peace in the Hotel was proving more and more difficult for Alastor now that Lucifer had moved in, but he tried his best to remain polite and not try to kill the King of Hell even if he did keep destroying his property.
For his part, Lucifer was finding entertainment where he could by pissing off the red headed deer and watching him struggle to not lose his ever loving shit to remain in his daughter's good books.
However, when Alastor proposes at least a temporary truce to keep the Hotel safe, Lucifer begins to see the Radio Demon as more than a rival and perhaps a possible ally.
And when Lucifer organised an accidental date, well, maybe Alastor's mind began to change as well, even if he had never thought of anyone in that way before.

It was easier to do this when Alastor acted how Lucifer had come to expect. “Charlie will never know, your psychotic little Overlord friends will never know, and when it’s done we will walk away and never, ever speak of it again.”
As an angel, Lucifer's never thought much about the secondary natures of humans or their Sinner counterparts in Hell. Then Alastor goes into rut, and he finds himself reevaluating what it is he’ll do to keep his daughter’s dream alive.
