Patroclus felt warm, not just from the heat of their previous adventures, but as usual, he always felt warm. “Oh my Achilles. . “ he whispers. Cradling the back of his golden hair into his fingers. Pushing his face further into his neck. Like cradling a babe.
“I mean it so-!” He exclaims suddenly, pulling Patroclus’ leg over him, earning a pitiful noise of some discomfort. “Anyone who speaks it is an idiot.”
“Is that so?” He asks, wrapping his arms around his neck, his leg resting over him as they lay on the white sheets.
“Yes.” Achilles speaks proud. “My Patroclus. A fool, a joke for the ages to love.” He grins, ear to ear.
