Hiii this is like my second ever Ao3 post and I still don't really know what I'm doing but this is another fic for me and my friends OC's that I'm mostly just posting for us. It's a lot longer than my first post which is funny because these are actually the side characters of this universe. But umm idk if anyone seems to find some interest in my boys and want some more lore and context leave and comment and I'd love to give it :) Thanks <3!!

Mount wasn't sure how he'd gotten himself here. Well actually, he knew exactly why he was here. It probably had something to do with pining for the same guy for eight years, working as his partner in paranormal work for four of them, being rejected countless times and after finally trying to move on, said partner punching his boyfriend in the face at an office party.
It also likely has something to do with being replaced by the cute new office heart throb and being avoided like the plague after finally thinking he might've had a shot.
But what he can't figure out is what on earth possessed him to drive over to Bread's house at 2 in the morning in the middle of a thunderstorm and how hes now face to face with bread, who is now sitting in his passenger seat, wearing a hastily put together outfit including a t-shirt, a rain jacket, slippers, and wet hair dripping onto his boxers.
His ears are ringing now, because surely they must've heard incorrectly. He was just yelling at bread, accusing him of ghosting him for the new hire and his stupid ginger hair and now he's being asked if he likes him.

When Crowley claims to be Aziraphale's husband to ruin what he assumes is a date, he doesn't think anything of it. But a day later it comes back to bite him in the ass when Crowley finds out that the date in question is, in fact, his new boss, who is looking to hire Aziraphale and hoping that Crowley, his husband, will put in a good word for them. Now Crowley is caught in a tight spot: either admit to his new boss that he was lying, or convince Aziraphale, his sort-of enemy, to pretend to be his husband to save face.
