“I’m sorry, what?” Gen’s mouth fell open in shock as he stared at Francois, who had just delivered the news. Yuzuriha stood beside him, gently placing a hand on his arm for support, though her wide eyes mirrored his disbelief.
“You’re pregnant,” Francois said firmly, their tone serious. “My guess is that you’re about eight weeks along—two months.”
This… this shouldn’t be happening.
Sure, he and Senku had spent his heat together, but the probability of conception was supposed to be low. Everyone knew that for an Alpha and male omega pair to successfully conceive, their cycles had to sync—an omega had to be in heat, and the Alpha in rut, at the same time.
Wait.
Senku had mentioned, possibly, that he was entering his rut—though it was hard to remember the exact words when their limbs were tangled together and Gen’s brain was swimming in hormones.
But honestly—who could blame him for missing that detail in the middle of everything?

Tim’s scent curdles with such a ferocity that even Mommy’s nose wrinkles, unforgiving nails pressing harsher into the delicate skin of his face. “No, no please,” he begs, unable to keep the words in, “No, Mommy, please don’t go.” Tim doesn’t know what he’d do without his Mommy. She’s finally being affectionate with him. He’ll take a spanking, a time-out, even a special punishment if it means that he can stay with her.
Mommy continues, the smile back on her face and with it a physical relief thrums through Tim’s entire body, helping to soothe the jackrabbiting of his heart, “You are essential to my plans, and I am fighting to get you back, but you need to help me. It must've been put up the night prior, because Dick would've definitely noticed the shining image of Bruce Wayne during his recon. His mother, appearing in an advertisement for Wayne Enterprises' latest makeup brand, wears slightly smudged lipstick and mascara that lines indecent eyes. A light blush paints his face, and highlighter shines atop the highest points of his cheekbones, making him seem as if he were tipsy. Bruce holds up a tube of the lip color used on him, and the company name is written in gold cursive against a pale pink background. It's a good ad, Dick would say, because it's very convincing. (If you buy from us, you'll look just as stunning as our CEO!)
That doesn't mean he likes it.
