When Jabber steps towards him, Zanka’s stomach drops. He can’t feel the vibrations through the floor at all, but he can see Jabber’s bare feet touching the floor. At this distance, not even someone as nimble as Riyo could escape him completely, so why is Jabber– someone who is not likely a trained mercenary– perfectly silent? It’s almost as if he’s a ghost.
“Noticed it, huh?” Jabber laughs, raising an eyebrow, and Zanka stills.
Or: Jabber dies, and Zanka is the only one who can see his ghost. This inevitably causes a lot of problems.

Summary
Zanka always puts his all into everything he does. That's how he works. It's not his fault that he's just a mediocre guy. So why does Jabber seem to think that he keeps holding back? That guy doesn't know him, he doesn't know how hard Zanka has worked to get where he is. Jabber doesn't know anything.
But...what if he does?
Or
Zanka sees himself as a mediocre guy, so what happens when someone sees something else in him? What happens when that person is able to push Zanka to be better than he ever thought he could be? And what happens when Zanka starts seeing it too?
