Summary
Every hair, nerve, cell, was on fire. There was nothing else in Bakugou’s world, only pain. Only the sizzling of his blood as it boiled in his veins. He could faintly hear himself screaming as the electricity arced up his body, over his chest.
The taste of iron welled in his mouth, and for a moment, he could see Midoriya lunge out of the darkness towards the teenager and place an animalistic punch to the back of his head.
As the shadows dissipated and he fell to the ground, green eyes were on his mind. All he never got to say, the things they would never be able to do together, as the life he had planned before him vanished in a flash of lightening.
He only regretted not telling him how he felt. How he truly felt, after all these years of waiting and dancing around each other. Orbiting a star he could not get closer to or he would burn alive.
Yet here he was, doing just that as the fire in his nerves flickered out.
"I’m so, so sorry… Izuku…"

Himiko is taken into custody, and put into a reformation program. Normally, she'd be fighting her way out of there, even if it killed her, but she can't bring herself to try that when Ochako looks at her with those big, beautiful eyes. She thinks she would do anything if it was Ochako asking her.
This is the third installment of this series, "gentle & co." which starts with bakukami and then seroroki!! this one is way less connected than the first two are, but it does mention some main and minor ships in there because they're ochako's friends!!! so not required to read, but recommended if you like this one :] this one is structured more like an actual story compared to the individual scenes of the other two, and has an actual plot!
