    My fills for the Year of the (Platonic) OTP 2023. 12 connected oneshots (plus several bonus fics/interludes inspired by my comments section) in a universe where the Justice League is convinced that Batman is dating his "Partner" Robin.

    Midoriya Izuku is medically quirkless, not technically homeless, perpetually exhausted and doing his damned best despite it all. He also sees spirits, which might be cool if not for the fact that a) no one else does, b) they really don't like him very much, and c) he's pretty sure the heroes now think he's a villain working for the League.

    Aizawa Shota just wants to take down Overhaul, rescue Eri, keep his students alive, get some rest, and find out how this Deku kid knows things he absolutely should not know about his personal life and the Shie Hassaikai case.

    Unless Nighteye's right, and the kid really is a villain.

If you’d taken him to a doctor, you’d know that, growing in wings is excruciatingly painful, they tear straight through the skin, he’s on the cusp of breaching, he should be in the hospital, or at the very least, a make shift medical area here.”

    When Izuku was told to pack his bag because he was going to go to someone who could correct his ‘unruly behavior’, he’d done so in silence, this wasn’t the first time he was being sent away for a beating and to be returned the next day bloody and bruised and sent to the next one a week later because ‘nothing seems to work with you Midoriya’. 

    He waits by the door in trepidation for whoever his torturer was going to be for the day, and is immensely surprised when a familiar blonde man walks up through the door. Most wouldn’t recognize him without his wings (which is kind of insulting but also kind of not) but Izuku was a faces person and would recognize the number three hero anywhere.
