Harry’s thoughts kept running in circles, round and round, always finding their way back to Draco Malfoy.
Sixth year rolled around, and despite the multiple responsibilities; of being Quidditch Captain, attending classes and handling drama, the last thing Harry would’ve expected, was to convince Draco Malfoy that he was in love with him. Somewhere along the way, the lines between investigation and being a boyfriend were blurring. Harry knew it, It was dangerous, but he couldn't stop.
OR
Harry fights Malfoy, (a lot, seriously, mind the tags y'all) and of course, the next obvious course of action is to date him as James Prince. Only, it takes him a while to realise he was falling in love, and he doesn't know what to do about it.

Summary
If Draco was honest, the weeks after their break up had been the worst. He felt like crying everyday, but he would pull himself out of bed and go to class. If his eyes didn’t obey him and sought Harry, well who could he blame?
It hurt all the bloody time. It had to stop, he had to move on. There were only about 5 months left of the year, and Draco Malfoy had to do this.

They break up during their eighth-year, and get back together like 2 years later. And yes, they still stay idiots (in love).
