Summary
“Is it dreamt?” Ronan asks. Adam is better than him at identifying the leftover dreamt objects. He can feel dream energy in a way that Ronan can’t.
Adam shakes his head.
Relief washes over Ronan. He had loved his father very much, but there was something strangely comforting about a story untouched by his father’s wild imagination. “Good. It doesn’t have some fucked up ending then.”

Summary
They stand in the space Gansey calls a kitchen, Ronan’s gaze darting around Adam’s face like he’s trying to memorise every inch of it. Slowly, Adam traces his fingers along the hem of his shirt, his cold touch melting against the warmth of Ronan’s stomach. He feels Ronan shiver and the hitch of his breath, a hiccup of a sound.
In a flash, Adam tugs Ronan’s shirt up while he’s distracted. Cursing, Ronan attempts to push it back down, but Adam’s fingertips are already tracing the tattoo, loop after loop.
“Parrish-”
“Why?”
(An AU where Ronan and Adam met before Niall’s death and meet again through Gansey.)

Summary
"There’s no limit to what John Egan can take. John Egan can take a shovel to the head. He can take a German cigarette. He can take a plane getting shot to hell, plummeting to the ground. He can take Air Exec as long as he can shove it up Hap Arnold’s ass. He can take the loneliness and the jealousy and the rage and the stupid fucking war and these stupid fucking Nazis and the goddamn cold and the feeling he gets sometimes, the absolute certainty that hits him like a bullet every so often, that he’s already dead, and this is Purgatory.
He can take it all. He can take it when Buck says he won’t escape, won’t even think about it, because he wants to make it back to Marge alive — to hell with John, already dead and rotting in front of him. He can take that, too."
In which John Egan wants and wants and wants.
