Summary
Just this time, he thinks, as he turns and adjusts himself to lay down again. He lets the kid tuck into his side, and once again he closes his eyes.
And opens them again, because the kid has squirmed up higher and is pushing himself right beneath Dyn’s arm, almost trying to bury himself in his armpit, and he stares at the kid. “What are you—“ he starts.
Then sees the kid give a violent shiver.

Summary
Elisa hung up her jacket, tossed her badge and keys on the table, and had just taken her gun safe out of the drawer when she registered that someone was sitting on her couch.
She drew her gun. "Put your hands up and stand up slowly."
The man chuckled, and damn it, Elisa knew that laugh. "Took you a little longer than I thought it would, detective. You really must be tired from your adventures."

"We've received intelligence that Latimer is going to be making a deal at an exclusive event this Saturday. We'll have people stationed around the event, but we need to get someone on the inside to track when the deal is going down." Chavez pointed at her. "That's where you come in."
Finally, they were doing something to take this bastard down. Elisa grinned. "Going undercover?"
"In a manner of speaking." Chavez gestured to the door. "You'll be posing as the girlfriend of our informant."
Elisa turned. "Who's—"
David Xanatos walked through the door.

Summary
Puck sided with a human against Oberon. He fought to keep the child away from Oberon. And between that and his refusal to attend the Gathering when summoned, Puck’s actions demonstrated a complete betrayal of their lord and ruler. He proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Oberon no longer commanded him, his obedience, his devotion, or his fealty. His loyalty now belonged firmly to a human by the name of David Xanatos.
The child should have been brought back to Avalon and Puck’s life should have been forfeit. That was Oberon’s right as ruler.
But a deal was struck instead. Alexander would be raised by his parents and tutored in magic while in the outside world. And while Puck would teach and protect the child, he would be thoroughly punished for his betrayal. He'd chosen the humans and the existence that he’d forged there while adopting a human identity over obedience and his home in Avalon? Then outside his lessons and protecting the child, Puck would be completely stripped of his magic and bound in that mortal shape.
With a mortal shape came mortal vulnerabilities. And a loophole that another trickster could use.

Summary
How does Elisa explain all of the guns that she loses? Why doesn't Nokkar know what the Space Spawn look like? What's Elisa going to do for Halloween when she runs out of Disney princesses? What would this series look like with accurate physics? And exactly how many ways can interspecies sex go horribly, hilariously wrong? Look no further for answers to all of the questions that nobody ever asked!
Happy Halloween, and remember, I wouldn't be riffing it if I didn't love it.

Summary
A story told via emails.
The clan thinks Elisa and Goliath should *ahem* get together. Matters spin out of control when their friends and enemies see the clan's messages.
Note: I thought this story was lost when the Pit deleted all the email addresses and stripped the formatting from the story, retroactively, about ten years after I posted it. (This originally written in the mid to late 1990s.) The email addresses are actually part of the story and the formatting was critical. The end result was an incomprehensible mess. I JUST realized it was also posted on another archive, and so, it is back from the dead.
Each "chapter" is an email.
