Jason Talha Al-Ghul, the son of Ra’s Al-Ghul and the younger brother of Talia Al-Ghul, stands out with a complexion slightly lighter than his kin. Yet, the sharp, piercing gaze of his green eyes carries a distinct, unmistakable mark of the Al-Ghul lineage, a symbol of their formidable legacy.
Since learning that his two-year-old nephew's father was Bruce Wayne, Jason had been planning to rescue Damian from the League's treacherous grasp. While he loved his homeland, he also knew that if given the chance, he would flee without hesitation. The League was no place for a two-year-old, and Jason could not bear the thought of Damian growing up surrounded by blood and violence, even if it meant betraying his older sister.
Aka. Jason is Talia's biological brother, and he doesn't want his nephew Damian to grow up in the violent environment he was born into. Then he kidnaps Damian and before he knows it, he too becomes part of the Batfamily.

"Jay," Bruce stops him, hands up. Jason can't help but let his gaze trace the wrinkles and grays he doesn't recognize, the scars he doesn't know the stories behind. "This is your home. Somehow, when you died, when we all thought you died... it wasn't you. You switched places with yourself from another universe, and that's the universe you've been in since your death."
Disbelief surges within him and Jason rolls his eyes, scoffing as he leans back against the wall and tries not to show how much the throbbing in his leg is bothering him. It doesn't work, of course. You can't fool Batman.

When Superboy Prime messed with the timeline, he brought Jason Todd back to life by pulling one from another multiverse. One that wasn't supposed to die. That sense of wrongness that's followed Jason around since he was brought back, the little inconsistencies in his memories, it all adds up. In the span of a few seconds Jason's world was upended, only made worse by the hours following. Roy was gone, Kori was gone, seemingly everyone he knew was gone, and there was no way to know if they were dead or alive. What he did know was he had to keep going, to keep Lian safe, and to keep these young, terrified heroes from getting themselves killed.
