So, with nothing to do, she decided to go to the library and find a book about basic magic tricks to practice her magic(which she’d only found out she had, like, a month or two ago).
Back in her dorm, she was flipping through the pages, still bored.
Most of the spells in the book were boring things like card tricks and disappearing spells and how to make a watermelon float.
She did eventually stop on a page that seemed interesting—it was about transforming things into cats.
Her first reaction to that was “Wow that’s really specific.”
The second reaction to it was “Oh my gods I need to be a cat this instant.”
She didn’t really think it through, however, because after becoming a cat, she realized holy shit I’m a cat.
She also realized that she had no idea how to turn back.
