Summary
Lady magic possessed Harry's patronus and gives creepy vibes – causing trip to the year 1942.
All in the name of: saving magic, a lonely and broken boy, and shoving the headmasters lemon drops where the sun don't shine.
Did she have to give him so many impossible side missions, though?
~OR~
Lady magic appears before Harry and Hermione in order to give them a mission – to save Tom Riddle from Dumbledore's mistakes.
Dumbledore having, ironically, let his fear guide the way in his interactions. This causing what would lead to not only Tom Riddle's downfall – but his own.
Learning that the people closest to him have been placed and manipulated to better serve Dumbledore's own manipulation against him, he sets off with the only person he can trust – Hermione.
He goes back in time with the hope that he can stop either war from happening in the first place. His objective is far more than just that, however.

Summary
Your typical sent back story with all the plot points you love, but with a new kinda story, an Imagination amalgamation if you will. the only thing that's a repeat are the common themes: heirs, master of death, and time travel. The rest are all things I've made sure have never been done before.

What's happening with Death? And time?!
Harry is the only thing affecting the timeline... right?
And last but not least: "magic is dying?!"OR
Harry wakes up to a sassy death, Dumbledores plans revealed, and options. Of course he knows which one he's choosing, only, this time it's for him. He still wants to help, he just won't be a doormat anymore. Once back he finds things changed slightly. Could it be an alternate timeline? Something more sinister? First things first though, Harry has a plan to play out.
Will Harry out smart Dumbledore? Will he figure out how to reach Hogwarts under the radar? Can he make sure all goes to plan?

She doesn't know how she got there, or why. But she has a mum who she loves, magic at her fingertips she only read about in books, and a whole lot of knowledge and not enough backbone to let things play out how they're supposed to.
Having a bleeding heart always did make things more difficult for her.
Or alternatively: Confused woman wakes up as a baby and later finds out she's in the HP universe, gets attached to the characters and makes her way into trolling most adults, just because.

Summary
For Round 2 of the HP-Unleashed fest, trope x trope. This is a slight subversion of the Independent-Harry-Evil-Dumbledore-Conspiracy-Uncovered-Complete-With-Diagon-Alley-Shopping-Trip-And-Molly-Weasley-Bashing fic, insofar as it's all from viewpoints other than Harry's, and Harry's grand discovery that 'everyone has been lying to him about everything' happens off-screen. And no, neither the 'bashing' tags nor the 'is a good friend' tags are errors, just my best attempt at a clash of tropes. Because, really, no thirteen-year-old is an angel of light or a hardened villain, and when they act like the latter, it rather begs the question of what the adults in their lives were doing.
