Her wish, simple yet momentous, was to bear a sweet little child that she could call her own.The demon watched gleefully as the magic took its price, scorching the land around it and transforming it into a barren waste.
The witches eyes were filled with glee as she suddenly held not one, but two beautiful children in her bloodied hands.
Before she could admire the fruit birthed of her long and arduous endeavor, a cry ripped itself from her throat as the spell was even more powerful than she had ever anticipated.
Her last spell, though, was brought to life with a kiss to her children's foreheads.
They disappeared, as did she, neither to be seen again.
This is a High Fantasy AU set in the mystical land of Genosha which has been nearly fully destroyed by the Scarlet Witch. Billy is a mage and Teddy is an Orc/Elf hybrid. They both have lost everything and find solace in each other along their journey, as they travel to find the great sorcerer Kang who can manipulate time itself.Series

Summary
Billy is head over heels in love with gorgeous Teddy Altman. They are already close, but when they almost kiss, Teddy pulls away and ignores Billy from then on. After the incident that leaves Billy heartbroken, they go on a mission with their team. Both of them are immediately drawn to each other again, but Teddy pulls away a second time. Just as Billy loses all hope, Thor comes in and saves the day and catches the eye of the young hero called "Asgardian."

It’s something about that stupid little smile.
Quentin watches Peter’s smile dim at the judgement from Fury and Hill – though they should be fucking ecstatic there’s someone here smart enough to think about the physics and math of multiple universes. If they were smarter, he wouldn’t be able to trick them as easily. So, he gives Peter his packaged line ‘never apologize for being the smartest one in the room.’
The effect is astounding. Peter’s smile flares bright, little creases appear at the corner of his eyes. Quentin feels the pull to smile back and knows he’s hooked.
(Peter and Quentin share a moonlit boat ride through Venice and Quentin decides to take a different path when Peter finds the projector.)
