This fiction is a What If Lucy didn't go to the Tenroujima. (That’s it... That’s the main plot)
And no it won't just immediately time skip to 7 years later, we'll go though the adventures of Lucy in those 7 years.

He knew Peter wasn't used to being open about his powers, or his spider-manning, or just - life in general.
