By this time they had been engaged for 6 months when Phoenix was found by Edgeworth in the storage of the Borscht Bowl Club during one Trucy Wright’s magic show. Now Edgeworth- filled with Hate, Indignation, Heartbreak, and more feelings he can't name- finds himself working- alongside Franziska, Maya, and Pearl- to find and bring Phoenix’s murderer to justice.

And you actually want to do it. Am I missing anything?”
Viktor hesitates, before throwing caution to the wind. Unreserved honesty will prevent any miscommunication later. “You also kissed me.”
Jayce’s head whips around. “I— What?”
“You - he - kissed me. And…” Viktor trails off, gesturing vaguely - uncertain of how much he should reveal. He’s always seen sex rather candidly, never understanding Piltover’s insistence on maintaining taboo; but out of consideration for Jayce, it seems polite to keep the details to himself.
His hand motion must convey more than enough. Jayce flushes from the crown of his head to his Adam’s apple, and buries his face in his hands.

Missing Chris is less of an emotion these days and more of a physical entity. He’s sure everyone can see that he’s slowly hollowing himself out, that he can’t do much of anything else.
But when Jee laughs at him trying to get his tongue to touch his nose, and Mara loops one of her arms through his to keep him from tossing the rest of his cup in the garbage, Eddie feels solid again.
Maybe he likes yellow birthday cake ice cream after all.
(or, gerrard messes with the team's schedules and eddie 'i just drove my son to flee the state' diaz is the only option to watch mara and jee-yun after school on tuesdays, which, shouldn't be a problem at all, right?)
