  1. Summary

Two independent stories that talk to each other, plus some extra material, all in the same universe.
"Twenty-nine" goes first chronologically, but it can be sees as a spinoff of “Twenty-six”. Or maybe "Twenty-six" is the spin-off and "Twenty-nine" is the main story. The point is that the reading order doesn't matter.

    Summary

After Magneto of an X2-ish future succeeds in the unthinkable, Charles sends his consciousness back to 1962 to guide Erik away from the path that will lead to the genocide of the human race forty years hence.

Charles knows that Erik has always loved him, and intends to use this knowledge + sex to seduce Erik away from his ideals in his youth.

There's no way this well-thought-out, sensible, debugged and 100% bulletproof plan can possibly go wrong.

    Bookmarker's Notes

A clever fic, good example of how to let readers know something while keeping characters out of the loop. Funny.

I always like a story about breaking away and escaping, in this one the prison is within which makes the break away harder and more rewarding. This is a story about fingin yourself and grabbing life and squezing joy out of it. The best thing to come from the disaster that is the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"Hold on," Mike asked, "you made Donna come into work in the middle of a blizzard?"

"I don't make Donna do anything. Haven't you learned by now?" Harvey gave Mike a mean little smile, but under that was relief for anyone to see. "You, I can make come into the office in a blizzard."

This fic is like getting caught on a summer storm on your way home, arriving drenched and wondering if you are elated or irritated but you definitely felt something. EMOTIONS. Just not sure which.

A favourite. Modern fantasy with regency echoes so that it feels both new and familiar. A treat.

A story about going away and going back and figuring how to communicate. You don’t need to know any Star Trek to be able to follow it. The story itself feels like putting on an expensive garment that actually fits you and has no tags or seams irritating your skin. It's just right.
