Summary
After a chance encounter at a run-down convenience store, Lexi - East Highland's very own drug-dealing dollface - begins what is likely an ill-fated friendship with troubled, workaholic Fezco, whose own dysfunctional tendencies clash with - as well as compliment - her own. As this unstable relationship struggles to take root, Lexi's brother Ashtray strikes a spark of his own with the fiery younger sister of Rue, a client-turned-friend who is struggling to remain sober at college. But that's not all, of course, because Lexi and Ashtray have never revolved in the same direction as planet Earth, and, when you spend your whole life going against the grain, collision is imminent.
