Summary
After the trial of Trent Ikithon, Caleb is ambushed and tries to hide in Eiselcross. However, he misses his mark, and needs Essek's help to find the outpost before he either bleeds out or freezes to death.
From this prompt: "Caleb teleports to Essek in Eiselcross in a last ditch effort to get away from danger, but misses. He sends to Essek to warn him, and Essek has to repeatedly send to a freezing and disoriented Caleb trying to get him to take off his anti-scry necklace so he can find him to teleport to him."

More than a threat, a nightmare.Essek, long having retreated into exile, is trapped by an obscure curse and forced to shelter in a strange isolated manor. His only hope of escape is in the hands of the apparent lord of the manor, a Beast who is appears both charming and repellent in equal measure.

Essek wakes one day to find a man he hardly recognises in his bed. One who answers to Bren and flinches from the sight of him. One who has no recollection of him or their friends.
Seperated by more than distance, Caleb wakes trapped in a cold tower. His parents are still alive and that should be a blessing but none of his friends remember him, especially the Shadowhand who may be his only hope of returning home.
