Summary
Nita and Kovit have returned to Toronto to start their new life together, with the help of Diana and Adair. There are many bumps in the road ahead of them, and a few of those are human shaped. Beginning almost a year after the events in When Villains Rise, Monsters in All of Us picks up Nita and Kovit's story after they have had a few months to heal and catch their breath. They won't be able to hold onto it for long however, as old players return, and new ones come forth to bring new challenges to our favorite murderous couple. However, they'll find that they aren't as alone as they once thought they were, as they forge new alliances and develop new friendships, and strengthen old ones along the way. After all, there are monsters inside all of us....
9-12-21 Update: It has been brought to my attention that Diana is actually slightly younger than Nita in canon. Please let me assure everyone that I have always thought Diana was at least 19 in the books, and from the prospective of this story, that is how I have written her. I will continue to write her this way, as that is how she has come to develop in my mind as a character.

Summary
They've been playing this push and pull for a while now, each turn getting stronger and stronger, so it makes sense for someone to finally give in. Been playing this game of cat and mouse, taunting each other until one would finally snap and make the deciding move.
Thing is, Wooin thinks he's a little in over his head this time, and his only saving grace is to keep himself from drowning in Joker.
(Although, Wooin doubts he actually wants to be saved from Joker. Not when he wants this.)
