George glanced back at Dream and looked away again, up at the full moon, before saying, “it’s not that I don’t like you.”
“Then what’s bothering you?”
The first time George answered Dream couldn’t make out the words, so George had to repeat himself. “I’m not good for you.”
“You—what?” Dream almost laughed, but the look on George’s face stopped him. “You’re George, you’re my best friend, of course you’re good for me.”
