Summary
Wriothesley never remembers ever living past the age of 35. Its almost clockwork how he is cut down, a systematic execution; like clipping the old buds of a flower in order for new life to grow of it. Egeria never seems to understand the metaphor though, always insisting that "this punishment is nothing like a flower", always claiming to be adept at human connection, but never seeming to quite get their ways of saying nothing while saying everything all at the same time. That, Wriothesley supposes, is why he exists in the first place. To be the human Egeria could never be, never got the chance to be.
Aka, What if Furina wasn't the only human walking around with divine energy attached to them. UNFINISHED (But getting a rewrite :3)

During a mission out into the desert to round-up an extremist group being led by one of the former Sages, Alhaitham's headphones are destroyed. He decides to stay behind through the night to fix them, but gets ambushed by leftovers of the Eremites and dragged across the desert. He gets nearly assaulted, thrown off a cliff, impaled on a tree, stabbed, and shot, and all the while can't stop thinking about Kaveh.
