Summary
Micheal Wheeler, trying to find a reason to live, revisits Castle Byers as a last resort for a reason not to kill himself.
Will Byers had left him years ago; Mike had no idea where he had gone off to or where he was. For all he knew, Will could be in Canada or Europe or on the other side of the planet, and he wouldn’t know.
The party had broken off a year after Will had disappeared. Having an absent cleric made campaigns more difficult. No healer, no magical protector, no one smart enough to even get through an hour-long campaign.
Mike wasn’t ready for his life to fall apart.

A very suicidal Mike tries to find comfort in his childhood by visiting Castle Byers, which he didn’t know was destroyed years before everything ended. Also he’s low-key schizophrenic why not

Summary
It started with a snowball. Nothing large. Then the snowball started rolling.
Will was only thirteen when he noticed something wasn’t right, that he wasn’t like most boys his age. He still coloured, he still played in the dirt and helped his mother around the house, he still picked up bugs off the ground and let them free outside.
He still didn’t find any interest in girls.

Summary
Will is a radio show host at the WSQK, broadcasting his hit series, "Off the Record", where he hosts anonymous confessions. Most times the confessions are from random people, but on a dark and rainy night, his unrequited love, Mike calls...
Mike is regretting everything. So on his late bus ride back home from working at his dead-end writing job, he listens to the voice of all he's ever wanted. He would usually just listen along and drown himself deeper into despair. But tonight he stops at a telephone booth in the middle of the road, and dials the radio station, hoping that he could finally confess his regrets.

“Building a castle for your love?” Micheal smirked, delivering a pat on Mike’s back that almost sent the boy flying off the couch. “Marvelous! You certainly are me. Will shall surely love a castle.”
“Uh, it's a fort. Not an actual castle.”
Micheal ignored Mike. “William and I will help you. There will be no universe where we aren’t meant to be together. Our souls are connected, no matter where we are.” He smiled and the scars on his face looked less threatening. That must be how William sees Micheal. A mop of messy curly hair and a wide cute smile.
“You’ll help? Because I want to fix Castle Byers for Will.”
“Certainly. Demogorgons are roaming your woods, William will accompany you while I can stay here and distract your Will.”
“Okay, okay.” Mike nodded his head and grinned. “Deal.”

Summary
Will Byers is dead. He got lost one night and fell down a cliff, drowned to death. Such a tragedy, nobody is able to ever truly forget about it or the poor boy who lived it. His friends and family never even go near that cliff out of the pure agony that comes with it.
They all remember him. His sweet toothy smile, his big shiny eyes. His kindness, his shyness,… his pain. Everyone remembers. Everyone but him.

Summary
Mike fought to stay awake, because he had never felt the sensation of death, so he didn’t know if this would be the end. He didn’t know if his last moments were spent bathing in the past, and the past coming back to embrace him. He wasn’t even sure if it was real at all, or if he was just hallucinating the desires he’d felt since he was a child. All he could feel, as his vision turned black and consciousness slipped away, was what felt like a press of lips against his, a final warmth, a kiss goodbye as he ventured into the unknown. He was afraid, but even if it wasn’t real, the kiss, filled with home, made him feel safe.
Mike, a soldier for his kingdom, finds himself on death's doorstep after a fatal injury. In his final moments, he is greeted by a boy from his past that he never thought he'd see again.
