“Do you always talk this much?” Kinn asks, pushing hands between their bodies and starts fumbling with the guy’s pants. He’s not ready to talk in detail about how much the thought of bottoming scares and excites him. It’s always been in his head, ever since he discovered he’s gay. He just never dared to take this step with someone. The fear of his father knowing and being disappointed always paralyzed him and killed every thought he had about doing it. Now… now he just doesn’t fucking care anymore. He doesn’t care because if he doesn’t do it, the life he’s leading is going to suffocate him.
He hears a humorous chuckle as he pulls at the guy’s zipper and all thoughts about his father fly out of his head. He’s fully in the moment, pressed against the wall with a rock hard cock and pulling down the zipper of a stranger. He doesn’t think he’s ever felt this liberated.
“At least tell me your name,” the bartender says, helping him push his pants down.

Kinn wakes slowly, nausea threatening to ruin his morning if he moves too fast. He groans but his throat is so parched that no sound comes out, his whole body aching like he died two days ago and his brain just hasn’t caught up with that fact yet. He takes a couple of deep breaths through his nose, fighting back the urge to be sick before he rolls his head slowly to the side, blinking irritably in the early morning light before scrunching his eyes back closed. There is a lump curled under the sheets next to him and he reaches out for the other body, hitting a delicate wrist. Kinn smiles to himself, knowing as terrible as he feels he's sure Porsche will feel worse. His hands wrap around the wrist and he freezes. It's too small, bones delicate and birdlike. Papa had said it was best they keep a distance while things settled down. He’d said that it wouldn’t do to look like they were too much in one another’s pockets. That their rivals might see their relationship as a weakness to be exploited.
Plus, with so many staff dead after the attack, everything seems to take three times as long to do. The work carries on, despite their depleted resources. Everyone’s pulling long hours. Kinn rarely has evenings free anymore, and Porsche certainly doesn’t. They speak on the phone when they can; Kinn in his room, Porsche in his own, sometimes reporting on what they’ve been doing, sometimes just listening to each other breathe until they fall asleep. Most days, from what Kinn can tell, Porsche works till midnight, crawls into bed for a few hours, and then gets right up and starts working again.
Kinn knows his father wouldn’t want him here. He’s sneaked out—sort of. Arm knows where he is, and if Arm knows, Tankhun knows (which is why Arm knows). Papa had told Kinn that he should let Porsche get established on his own, to show trust. It does make sense, if Kinn thinks about it logically.
But he misses his boyfriend.
(Or: Kinn visits Porsche at the minor family house.)
