Miles had been intending to help Phoenix Wright, when he'd invited him to Germany. After all the support Phoenix has offered him over the years, it's the least he can do in return.
When he makes the mistake of extending the Wrights' stay over the anniversary of his father's death, Miles is subjected to an infamous Phoenix Wright Turnabout.
He only wishes he felt less guilty about it.
