I know that Sgaeyl is looking for her mate, probably putting on whatever scent or mating signals dragons use as she prances through the forest. Where Violet bonded her mate just a few weeks ago, making my nights infinitely more difficult. Fuck.I’ve had enough of this, I think to myself as I pull my tunic over my head and shrug on my flight jacket, zipping it up just far enough to cover my growing erection. This ends tonight.
Xaden and Violet decide to go riding during mating season, and well.... things escalate.

This is a spicy scene between Violet and Xaden that also leads to a little bit of my idealized plot resolution. Although it's unlikely it'll be this simple to resolve Xaden's state (There's still three more books obviously) but I needed a space where Xaden doesn't have to suffer through the next several books.
