Many thought it would simply be a cold winter.
That it would pass.
That spring would return eventually, just as it always had.
But, to humanity’s horror, it did not.
Little by little, it grew colder. More and more snow fell. The days became shorter, the nights longer, and the sky seemed to be forever covered by a grey veil.
That was how the endless winter began.
Survival became harder for people. There was less food. Less water. Almost no warmth left at all.
Only some managed to get used to such a world.
People like Branzy.
