By the end of the Great Purge, millions of Alphas and Omegas were dead. Viruses were created to kill Alphas and Omegas and were believed to be the reason many born in Jim’s time were born without the natural ability for their Alpha or Omega Gene to activate at birth, leaving millions, potentially billions inactivated Alphas and Omegas. And while it may advance scientific knowledge and helped all the potential Alphas and Omegas, Jim did not want to be a lab rat.
Agent James T. Kirk was the best agent at The Federation Bureau of Investigations but he was still looking for happiness.

Yes L.J. wanted to bring her to NCIS, because they needed a third member to their team, but did he need to make it so obvious that he was hitting on her. L.J. closed her eyes trying to calm down before she decided Tony needed a head slap to send him into next week.

Summary
Tony decides to leave NCIS. This is not a sequel to my previous story Agent Not Afloat which can be found here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/6567283/chapters/15025804
This is a re-working of that story. I have wanted to do this but I didn't want to make changes to the original or take it down, so, instead I reworked it. It is a bit longer and has some added parts to it. I have heavily edited it, but if there are still mistakes please let me know. I wanted to make some of the characters a bit more rounded and I hope I have done so with this version of the story. If you haven't read the original and wish to do so to compare please do so, if not and wish to completely ignore the original fine by me (I like this version better myself).Series

Summary
After gating back to Earth, John is arrested, court-martialed and thrown in prison for the death of Colonel Sumner. Rodney, fighting against the unjust punishment, breaks Sheppard free. They return to Pegasus, fugitives of Earth and Atlantis, and try to figure out what their life is now, what they are to each other and how they will continue to fulfil their mission: protecting the people of the Pegasus galaxy from the Wraith, all while trying to remain hidden from the teams of Atlantis still exploring the galaxy and the enemies they've made along the way.
