Preface
It Began With a QuestionIn the 23rd century, Captain Gabriel Lorca pondered a universe of possibilities.
In that same century, Starfleet Captain James T. Kirk of the Starship USS Enterprise NCC-1701, raised a question.
Captain Kathryn Janeway of the 24th Century Federation Starship, USS Voyager thought she might have stumbled across an answer to it. But she could only relay the location of what she had found, before she and her crew disappeared within the Delta Quadrant.
It fell to Station Commander Benjamin Sisko of Deep Space Nine to retrieve Janeway’s discovery in hopes of unraveling Kirk’s mystery, which had lain, unsolved, between the stars for almost one hundred years.
