A spark of interest lit up Alastor's tired eyes.
"I came here to talk to you about Charlie. Seeing us fighting upsets her, and I don't want to hurt her if I can help it. So here's what I propose: for Charlie, we play nice. You can hate me, fight me, insult me in private all you want, but in front of Charlie? We're friends. If she ropes us into one of her redemption exercises, we do it, no complaints. If she asks if we're getting along, and some snide remark comes to mind, you hold your tongue. If anyone sees us arguing and it has even the smallest chance of it getting back to Charlie, we drop it. You do this, and I'll heal you." Lucifer stuck out his hand. "Deal?"

Summary
Alastor, an aspiring musician, found himself in England in hopes to find opportunities.
Lucifer is a stressed father, trying to find stability in work life and within his homelife.
What happens when they both keep finding themselves in each other's presence?[~The process to get out of America was a nightmare.
Yet after all the effort, Alastor couldn't help but feel lost as he stood in the middle of the port looking through the large crowd of people.
But he couldn't turn back now.
Whether his home was in Louisiana or not, London was now where he lived.
So, with a deep breath and a smile on his face, Alastor walked forth.
~Lucifer stood in front of a large, cracked window as he picked out and eyed every and all imperfections.
So unfit for an interview, he thought to himself. If it seems I disregard my own appearance, how can they assume I can take care and teach kids?
He sighed. No matter- if I don't get this job, I'll just have to try again somewhere else.

Summary
Charlie had chosen to attend Hazbin Community College, taking advantage of Lucifer's employee perk of free tuition, and they were supposed to spend her first ever fall break together. Instead, he'd been roped into flying halfway across the country to attend some dumb teaching conference with his asshole co-worker Alastor Boudreaux. Things couldn't possibly get any worse.

Lucifer had never felt so powerless. Trapped and used, by a mere sinner at that. Something had to change.
He needed to mend his relationship with Charlie, with Heaven & Hell, and somehow put up with the lanky red loudspeaker that insisted on lurking around his daughter.
A story of taking back your power, of freedom and perhaps, of love.
