It's been two years since Chris has had any real contact with the Guardians, except running in them time to time and quickly running away. Chris has a lot on her plate coming out as the Shadow Princess, being a new creature of darkness, trying to make contracts within the dark world to secure her place in her father's Kingdom, and being in love with someone from the side of Light! All in all it hasn't been fun. Things seem to hit a head when the Unseelie Fae take it into their hands to try and wipe out humans for good, tired with how humanity has been treating the earth these past centuries, inadvertently killing the Fae and damaging their way of life. Forcing Chris to show her hand and where she stands. Will she stay within her realm of dark? Will she go into the light with the one she loves? Will she be forced to marry someone who she doesn't love at?

Summary
After 2020 the world went to shit. Surviving in the post apocalypse isn't as hard as you might think it is, for a human that is. Thank god the guardians belief is based on the percentage of believers and not the number itself. Still recognizing that the humans may need help they decide to implement a process of their own. Teach the humans how to live properly, and then release them to go teach other humans. The 'program' has been going pretty decent in the past 5 years, but most of the humans are grateful and happy that they get to learn that there childhood heroes are real. Again. Most humans. Some people just want to be left alone, yet their wish gets denied as they are voluntold into the process. Some People meaning our main character Chris. Join her as she navigates the new world and what she decides to do with the choices she has been given.

It wasn’t immediate. The first month or so, Logan went to jobsites, did his work, and came home without a second thought. Then one day Wade made some offhand comment about how the shitty bathroom floor tiles absorbed blood like a fucking sponge and it was nearly impossible to scrub out and suddenly he was noticing different types of tiles and grout and piecing together the ideal floor materials for two guys with a healing factor and a penchant for coming home blood soaked.
From then on it was like the floodgates had opened and he couldn’t stop himself from taking mental notes at every job he worked. He wasn’t actually planning on buying something. He was just looking.
For the future.
DISTANT future.
Except…
The TVA had given him a truly disgusting amount of money he wasn’t doing anything with and real estate was a decent investment. He didn’t have to do anything with it if he didn’t want to.
