Summary
Okay, maybe Wind was being a little mean. Hyrule was a friendly guy. Despite his Third Rank, he was one of the best magic users out of any Link that Wind knew. He probably would’ve been a bit bitter about it, but Hyrule was so kind and sincere that it was difficult to stay upset for long. No, having Hyrule over wasn’t a problem at all.
The problem was that wherever he went, there was also Legend. And Legend was an asshole.

In a modern society where things like monsters and crime are considered problems of the past, an organization of elite soldiers are needed to keep the status quo in place. And when one of them starts acting oddly, well...it's only natural that the others would want to help. If only the person in question wasn't such a secretive and stubborn jerk. -

“Someone beat us here,” he realized out loud.
A tense silence fell over them. “What makes you say that?”
“Wait, I see it now,” Four gestured to the blocks pushed against the wall. “This puzzle has already been solved.”
It was far from the first time this had happened to them. More often than not, they would hear tales of monster camps and dungeons only to find the places cleared out by the time they got there. And while it was nice to see that the world could manage without heroes doing everything, something wasn’t right. If the people of the era didn’t know it was dealt with…then that implied that someone else was responsible.

She saw no need to keep up a charade of nobility around him, and so he was among the few privy to the disastrous whirlwind of papers that accompanied a new research spiral.
“Oh, Ravio! What brings you here today? I had thought we weren’t scheduled to meet for lunch until a few days from now…”

Mira's hands approach her mouth. You keep an eye on that, to make sure she doesn't start biting her nails. She says, "Do you have any plans for after this?"
Ah, your chest feels tight... You shake your head. "I dunno. I guess... I'll just go back to just traveling."
Got chills with this part, I'm obsessed with it. Fantastically written <3

Wind gets an arrow through his calf in the middle of a heated battle. In a moment of desperation, he downs a potion and gets himself directly back into the fight. This, he doesn’t realize until after the battle is over, heals the arrow inside of him.
