They were silent, eyes locked together as they had a silent argument, before Tubbo’s shoulders fell and he shoved the vial in his pocket, and Ranboo’s lips quirked upwards in victory. “I’m not going to use it,” Tubbo warned and the prince shrugged.
or, the political au where their problems can and will be solved with murder. Prince Ranboo and Secretary of State Tubbo quickly get in over their heads as they involve themselves in brewing plots of revolutions and murder plots, where they quickly learn that the adults are unreliable and they can really on trust themselves (and Tommy, of course).

Summary
The life of a sidekick isn’t glamorous. It’s being a henchman minus the law-breaking. Heroes get the glory, and villains can do whatever they want. Sidekicks are merely tools that are sometimes mentioned.
Tommy Innit, Tubbo Underscore, Ranboo Beloved, and Purpled (no-last-name-given) have the worst luck. The heroes they work under aren’t the best…. In the sense that they are physically and emotionally abused by the “good guys”.
When these four have a chance encounter at a cafe, they get an outlet for their messed up lives. Even better, they get adopted! Sort of! Not without loud complaining (Tommy-)- Language:
