    This story is about Jason's journey of healing, possibly coming to fit in, and finding a place to call home. Jason will need to find a way to wrangle his emotions for Gotham, and the vigilante's in it, while trying to put together a future for himself.

    This is mostly a story of angst, trying to pull towards a happy ending, with custody battles galore!

    Summary

    After years of rehabilitation and running, Jason returns to Gotham after having had his throat slit by Batman.

    On good days, Jason can speak. More often than not he can't - communicating through sign language instead.

    Returning to Gotham entails Jason facing his demons, and reconciling with his family. Well most of the family, bar one. All under the nose of Batman, of course.

    But can Jason keep from falling under Bruce's thumb?

    (An AU amalgamation of RHATO Post #25, Under The Red Hood and Jason’s PTSD).
