His grip around Daniel went from still and unmoving to his back rising and falling as he uttered nearly silent sobs into Daniel’s sleeve. Daniel’s left hand that rested passively on Armand’s shoulder was now moving, rubbing the fabric, hopefully reaching the skin with impact. He felt the blood soak into his sleeve and let it happen. Part of Daniel knew he couldn't move, but another, far better part of him, didn’t want to. His right arm began cramping, he start sliding it out from Armand’s grasp to readjust. Armand’s arms wrapped tighter.
