“Can you tell me a story?” Dorothy asked as they walked, cradling Toto in her arms as the small dog dozed.
The scarecrow thought for a moment, his mouth sullen in deep thought. How did it seem like he was thinking when he claimed to have no brain. “I know one,” he said after a while. “It’s a story from long ago, and all those who are in this story are gone now.”
She nodded her head and a bubbly thought arrived in her mind. “So this is a true story!” She excitedly inquired. “Oh how I love true stories!”

Summary
Odysseus of Ithaca had always been different. Relying more on intelligence then strength, cunning over pure power, he had always stood out. But, he never realized how much he stood out until he left the safety of his kingdom to fight in the war.
Using his charms to get what he wanted was all well and good, but not if it gained some unwanted attention.
