Summary
His grip around the neck of the clear glass bottle in his left hand tightened. The bottle was once filled with milk (he thinks?) and is now filled with a rolled piece of paper torn from his personal journal filled with… his thoughts. The contents of the page didn’t matter– not anymore. What matters, he told himself, is that the words are there now.
Which means they aren’t in him.
[Or, the one where Jayce vaguely writes a letter about Viktor and Viktor finds it and responds anonymously]

Summary
“Is there anything your magic can’t do?” the blond muttered, eyes scanning the new rafters.
“Make furniture,” Izuku shrugged, “I can only fix what’s broken by reversing time on the item.”
Katsuki scoffed and muttered, “Lame.”
Izuku only smiled, “We’ll need to find a woodworker.”
“Fuck off, I can make anything we need. We don’t need anyone else.”
That was the start of it.

“AND THE WINNER IS…”
Katsuki knew this was his— it had to be. The tension in the air was suffocating and if he had a less level head under stress, he probably would have fainted from forgetting to breathe. He was standing on stage, an audience in front of him and his dance crew behind him. This was the first year in his ten years of competitions that Katsuki competed in a mixed tournament— Ballet, Ballroom, Tap, Hip Hop, and Jazz all competed against one another.
Katsuki never fuckin’ lost, okay?
(Hint: He loses.)

Summary
While fleeing for his life, Draco finds himself suddenly transported to the woods behind Harry’s cottage in the Yorkshire Dales. Harry looks different – there are small lines at the corners of his eyes, a sliver of grey at his nape, and more muscle than he’d had in school.
Harry’s even more surprised to see Draco, who disappeared fifteen years prior and seemingly hasn’t aged a day.

Summary
“Why couldn’t you let me die?” Viktor asked softly. He did not blame Jayce; hell, Viktor would do all he could if their roles were switched. “You must’ve known my lungs…”
“Because I love you.” Jayce admitted. Matter of fact. With the same natural reverence as he spoke of hextech and smithing. Using the same ease with which he said his own name. “Because I loved you and it was too late and it drove me to desperation. I love you.”
Viktor was at once too cold and too hot. His heart was beating hard into his ribcage as his tongue twisted over itself. “And…I-I…Jayce, I—”
“I know you love me.” Jayce’s grin only had the slightest tinge of bitterness as he bumped his head against Viktor’s. “It’s fairly…obvious when I’m actually fucking paying attention. I know you love me. You were…waiting for me. You were waiting for so fucking long…”

Summary
"Right, no, I- yes, sorry." He takes another breath. "Sorry, I've never done this before."
Jayce begins pacing from his kitchen counter to his couch, the open floor of his one-room apartment perfect for the nervous habit. He's gotten one or two noise complaints for heavy stepping early into the morning when sleep refused to come, and the math in his brain was rolling around too fast to catch and pin down on paper. He hopes there won't be any complaints tonight. He's already a mess as it is.
"You have never made a phone call before?" The voice asks, bemused.

Summary
At first, Viktor doesn't notice that Jayce Talis is, for lack of a better word, strange. Stranger than a man determined to mix magic and science should be. And why would he?
Knowing how a man loops his initials on every page of his personal notes and what angle his shoulders make when he appears to have given up does not mean that Viktor should know him. A similar mind and equal drive towards the unknown do not mean they are the same.

Summary
“All packed?”
“Eh, mostly. Thought you could help me carry my bag to your car.”
“Mr. Independent letting me carry his bags?”
“I am on holiday, I will remind you. Perhaps I am letting loose,” Viktor sniffs.
Jayce laughs, and the grin sticks. “Well holiday Viktor, I can’t wait to see all of this ‘letting loose’ you plan to do.”
Professor Jayce and Professor Viktor take their marine biology students to Mexico to study coral reef rehabilitation.
Jayce gets a private lesson on mermaid anatomy from Viktor.
