Summary
After the disaster that was the Idol Awards, nothing is normal and Zoey has been picking up everyone else's broken pieces. But one night, an encounter with a demon makes her confront her inner demons, wrestle with everything she's ever known, and break in a way she can't come back from.
Sorry, I know the summary sucks, BUT this story is a deep dive into the nature of Zoey/Mira/Rumi's roles as demon hunters, what that means now that they know demons are people capable of redemption, and how they deal with (or rather, don't deal with) the trauma that comes with their newfound understanding of good and evil.
I know this SAYS part one of a series, but it can be read as a standalone story! I'm just grouping it with the other story (or stories eventually!) that delve into emotional struggles like this! :-)
