Ainosuke freezes; it's like neither of them are breathing, and there's almost no sound around them. It's suffocating. He’s still for one impossibly long moment - just that narrow space between heartbeats - and then he moves, straddling Tadashi and holding his head with his hands, tilting it so he has to look up at him. "I'm going to make this very good for you, puppy," he says, and then he kisses him.

Keith huffs a laugh. "A long, long way from here," he says, plucking the cherry from his glass. Shiro's eyes follow it all the way to his lips, and Keith watches his throat bob when he bites down and plucks the stem. It's an evasive answer, but if Shiro had any follow-up questions, Keith thinks they're long gone.
"Do you want that?" he asks when the silence drags, gesturing at Shiro's cherry. It seems to snap him out of his trance.
"N-no! You can take it," Shiro stammers, pushing the glass toward him. "Please."
A mission takes Keith back in time, and leads him straight to Shiro.

It’s been a while since he’s seen Shiro so mischievous. As sore as Keith is going to be tomorrow, this morning’s romp was an excellent idea, especially if it’s given Shiro this sparkle in his eye.
“Come on,” Shiro says to him, grabbing his hand and threading their fingers together. “You’re gonna like this.”
Keith's not exactly sure what the plans are going to be for Shiro's birthday, but he knows for certain that they're going to do it together.

"What kind of treatment are we talking? I'm guessing it's something hard to get, considering how you're acting," Keith says. He shifts in the bed; he's starting to feel warm again, and it's getting harder to focus on the conversation.
Shiro's eyes snap to the bed as Keith starts shifting, and he flushes red. "It's not… hard to get," he says, pausing as if he's having to force the words out. "It's just unconventional, and… and there's some possible issues with it, so we--"
"Shiro," Keith snaps, "just spit it out." Shiro takes a deep breath and raises his gaze to meet Keith's.
"You have to have sex."
There's a long silence as Keith digests that. "I'm sorry, what?"
A gifted plant causes some issues, but it also helps bring some clarity to a couple of pining boys.

No one would help him get to the bottom of Kerberos, and it had all reached a breaking point when Iverson threatened to terminate Keith’s scholarship if he kept snooping.
So Keith got what he came for, the little black book no one was ever meant to find, and stopped snooping.
Because now, he’ll have someone else to do all the snooping for him.
The situation isn’t ideal, Keith thinks as he slits his palm open and methodically draws the pentagram on the floor, placing the necessary items one by one into each point of the star. But considering the circumstances, he thinks he’s done alright for himself. More importantly, for Shiro.
