What Jack has done renders Castiel’s intuition completely nonsensical. Mortal angels. Unthinkable before; reality now. The universe grows and breathes, with rules as porous and subjective as life on Earth is.
Jack watched The Good Place a lot before ascending to godhood.Castiel has never been happier. Jack has not only saved the universe, but permanently altered the course of life for all beings within it. God is no more, he and his child are living comfortably in the bunker, and his relationship with Dean has never been better. But as good as things are, nothing is ever perfect. The universe may be new, but the Winchester family is still the same, and the door has reopened on some old problems.

Summary
It's the end of October, and after a case, there's a carnival. Well it's more of a state fair, and no matter how many years go by, Dean loves these things. He's gonna make sure his family has a good time - so what if Sammy still goes wobbly at the sight of clowns, or even the thought of em? - there are spinning rides, pig races and lemonade, and those ridiculously gigantic stuffed animals to strive vainly to win... Along with everything possible to eat either fried or on a stick (or both!)
It's a beautiful day with a high blue sky and everything is awesome.
At least, until Cas decides he HAS to ride the Ferris Wheel. Or rather, that he and Dean have to ride it.
Together.
(Also known as: going up in Ferris Wheels seems a lot like flying, and Dean is NOT a fan)
