    Shane Hollander is just trying to survive NYU biochemistry, hockey practice, and the graveyard shift at 7-Eleven. He's too exhausted to notice that his new regular customer is Russian mafia, or that Ilya's interest in him goes beyond terrible coffee and cookies.

    When Ilya hands him a $10,000 designer scarf and matching gloves, Shane doesn't panic. He sells them for next month's rent. Any normal person would be terrified. Instead, Shane uses the leftover money to buy a Hello Kitty watch, pastel pink, childish, utterly incongruous with the danger circling him. He wears it to his next night shift without irony or apology.

    Ilya notices immediately. He is fascinated.

    Tears in my eyes the whole time, wonderful work making my heart rate go up. I wanted it to stop and keep going all at the same time. My boys can’t handle any more beatings.

    Part 2 was a masterpiece. Read it in 1 day bc I could tear my eyes away. Them navigating Shane’s first year as a bear, the same team, same line, they had their ups and downs but oh my god they had support from the boys. LOVE LOVE LOVE this series

    “You can’t go two weeks without fucking me anyways,” Shane heard himself saying, and instantly felt like he’d chosen the wrong dialogue option. He should’ve said something like I’d like to see all the ways you can figure it out or maybe not sharing a room has never stopped us before.

    Ilya let out a laugh, “Please, you beg for me all the time.”

    “I’m not the one who can’t go more than a day without jerking off —” shut up Hollander, SHUT UP “I can totally go two weeks without fucking.”

    The Centaurs do a rotational room program for their first road trip of the season. Which would be fine if Ilya and Shane could be professionals.

    Shane starts a fight and gets a Dick Trick, Ilya is a mastermind, Bood becomes an Queer Icon, Troy has no idea what's going on, Hayes is having the time of his life, and no one wants to talk about the showers thing anymore.

    Now with Prequel, but stands alone.

    Fabulous feel good fic. I love married life and their teammates dealing with it. I also love they set a bet and then broke it ably3 times and said it didn’t count bc they won a bc game or something, felt very in character of everyone!!

    Wow, just wow, absolutely amazing story. Shane’s inner monologue doubting his ow and Ilya’s feelings was so sad. Having to put on a show and pretend to be a couple was so funny was also horrible bc of the miscommunication. Loved the end!!!!!
