Summary
Cornelius Hickey wakes up to find that he's been kidnapped by a man named Harry Goodsir, a man he has never met. Goodsir has met him though - over and over. He has been trapped in a time loop and in desperation, he has taken Hickey and intends to keep him prisoner for the next three years. Hickey has no intention of being a quiet prisoner - but is that enough to change Goodsir's fate?

Summary
Francis had come to James the evening of Sir John’s funeral, taken him aside privately, his breath laced with the cloying smell of rum. James had braced himself for a litany of his own failings, but instead, Francis had clapped him on the shoulder and looked him in the eye. “Fitzjames, I’ve not been a friend to you,” he’d said, “but I pray you will give me a second chance.”
James had nodded stiffly, hiding his surprise. He knew better than to trust a drunken profession such as this one; nonetheless, a tendril of hope sprouted deep within his heart.

Summary
My collected Horatio Hornblower fics, focusing on Archie Kennedy and the back-, behind-, and between-stories I imagine for him.
I write dark, and I ramble. My boys, Arch especially, do not behave well or love well. Terrible things happen to them, some of which I describe. There is conflicted homosexuality and rape and vicious psychological trauma. My interest in these characters is how to string together the pieces we see on the screen, and the sexual emotional relationship lots of us like to imagine, into a satisfying, if tragic whole.
Presented in chronological, not written, order. All the fic are titled (or re-titled) with quotes from poetry and plays. Pre-canon are from Shakespeare and Sheridan. All the Justinian-era fic are from William Blake.

Summary

The well-dressed, hard-faced man who had collected Bruce Wayne from the crime scene answered the door with a narrow-eyed look of surprise that threw all of Jim’s instincts. Instead of a polite greeting, there was a curt, “You’re one of the GCPD detectives.”
“Yes.” Jim forced himself to meet the man’s eyes. They were the most unsettling part of him: the pupils were a strange, deep amber that reminded Jim uncomfortably of a feral animal. “You’re… Alfred Pennyworth, aren’t you? I’m Detective Jim Gordon.”
“And?”
“And what?”
“And what do you want?” There was a strange note to Alfred’s voice that Jim couldn’t place, that didn’t seem to sound quite… right: it seemed to pull at something under his skin, somewhere subconscious. It made his skin crawl.
