Once upon a time, there was a boy. He was a summer boy, with hair gold as summer afternoons, eyes blue as the sky at noon, voice as sweet as the larks in the early mornings.
Once, there was a man of winter. Hair as white as the mountain snows, eyes yellow like the arctic wolves, heart covered with December's first frost.
There was a kingdom. A sorceress. A mage. There was good and there was evil, and perhaps, there was love.
There was also a horse.
But no, that’s not quite it now is it? Let me try again.
Once upon a time…
A Gaskier Tangled Au because why the fuck not. Sadly there is no magically long hair, but there is singing, fighting, 'hmming' and a raven because Jaskier is a magical Disney princess now.

Summary
He sees Lance still crouched in the middle of the corridor, his face contorted in pain after throwing Keith. Keith tries to call out to him, but his vision is starting to blur and his brain becoming sluggish from the pain and the blood loss. He must have said something though because Lance looks back over at him. Lance looks above Keith, shouting something, but as Keith loses his grip on consciousness he can’t make it out. Beneath him, Keith feels Red start to move. He tries to get his thoughts in order, tell her to stop, to wait for Lance.
Keith tries to crawl toward him, to get him back damn it.
As darkness creeps in on the edges of his sight, he sees Lance smile at him, like the one he gave him in the castle.
It’s the last thing Keith sees before passing out.

Ghost knows he's destined to spend the rest of his life going through the motions of being the sharp, shadowy knife those in power use to backstab one another. He's made peace with it. Sir John "Soap" MacTavish is far too busy to be fucking around in the frozen arse-end of Anfēowern. He's got an entire team of knights to direct, a king and a prince who are hell bent on making his life as difficult as possible, and an incoming visit from the king of a neighbouring country that will surely plunge his next few months into complete chaos. He’d love a day off. Fuck, he’d love five minutes off.
Fate must have a dark sense of humour, because Ghost and Soap are about to collide.

Summary
