In hindsight the explosion made sense. This was a new spell after all, and there were absolutely still bugs to be worked out, and Mai was barely familiar with it enough to even realize what went wrong. In the moment though, she was very surprised when it blew up, producing a lot of smoke and a loud bang.

Summary
The crew of the Cosmic Voyager spacecraft, Tsuru One, have been trapped 4072 light years away on the other side of the universe. Daichi, Oikawa, Ushijima, Kuroo, Bokuto and Kita are functionally dead, lost to the world to live out the rest of their lives in a ship, slowly drifting home. There is nothing they can do to save themselves a slow death.

After a chance encounter in the woods at night, Daichi is catapulted into a rapidly changing conspiracy in which Oikawa has missing time in his childhood, Daichi's father is part of a secret government agency, Tendou doesn't seem to be human and, mostly bizarrely of all, the boy's ghost hunting adventures go viral when Kenma posts videos of them online.
Daichi probably wouldn't hate being internet famous with the four other volleyball captains if it didn't seem to also come with ghosts at the edge of his vision and uncovering something deeply, fundamentally wrong with his family.

Three years after the disaster at Jurassic World, Claire Dearing and Owen Grady are contracted for a mission to save as many dinosaurs as possible from the impending eruption on Isla Nublar. But when they arrive, they experience an unexpected complication; six teenagers who were left stranded on the island when the park closed.
Surviving has left the campers scarred in more ways than one, and they’re pretty sure that their would-be rescuers have less than good intentions.
