Summary
Society within the walls has rules and standards. Anyone who cannot provide for humanity is a burden and little more than Titan fodder. Even in remote districts like Shiganshina, the elderly and chronically ill and disabled suffer. They are looked down on and the last to receive aid or assistance.
So it comes as no surprise that when Carla and Grisha's perfect son turns out to be less than perfect, that they do everything in their power to protect him from the cruel prejudices of the world.
But Eren Yeager has a mind of his own and a goal that cannot be stopped.
After all, its hard to hear words of reason or doubt when you can't hear anything to begin with.

Summary
Levi Ackerman hasn't lead the greatest of lives, but circumstances have made him little Mikasa Ackerman's guardian and he works hard to ensure he does it right.
After four and half years, Levi thinks he's doing pretty good. Mikasa sees him as her father and he has taken her on as his daughter.
However, all is not picture perfect. Levi takes on a child that no one seems to care much about and ends up in over his head when it turns out Eren Yeager is a bit more than he had bargained for.
Now, feeling like he's being pulled in two directions, Levi struggles to help both kids placed in his care without loosing himself along the way. -
