Absolutely lovely. almost too many details but I did reread some parts they were so well written and lovely. Different, them older. Mostly just them except for the start and end then it’s friends and family too! Love their dynamic and the jealousy! Slightly different perspective of Wednesday AND pugsley but I loved loved loved and it went with the story. Only one I’ve read with a good Esther and honestly I was here for it. Genuinely made me laugh aloud!

Really fucking good. Different from the last couple I’ve read. LOVED KINBOTT! Oh my god I love wends and therapists trope. Literally reread every other paragraph it’s so well written and witty the way she writes wends thoughts. Strong, mature, kinda scary Yoko who takes wends under her wing. A bit of the family and really friend focused, specifically Yoko and Bianca. Like I said different but I still loved it. The song Neptune could apply here too. Wends diagnosis and conversion. Love her relationship with adult figures like galpin and weems and kinbott

Enid has a hard time adjusting to being back home and suddenly having a family that praises her. After being treated like a pariah, its…a tad bit jarring.
Not to mention the fact that Enid can very clearly hear her wolf in back of her head now, being THE most unhelpful commentator.

He smirked cruelly. “You happen to be a suspect in a murder case. Why do you think I’m arresting you?”
From the corner of her eye, she saw Enid make her way over to Bianca, Yoko, Divina, and Kent. “Considering your track record, you could be arresting me because the sky is blue.”
His face contorted in anger, and he took a step forward, using his taller stature in an attempt to intimidate her. “Turn the fuck around, put your hands behind your back, and shut the fuck up.”
She smirked, complying with his request. There were plenty of witnesses in her favor, not to mention the person filming the moment from upstairs. And she shouldn’t push him with Enid in the room. She didn’t want to force that side of her mate out if she didn’t have to. Even though the thought was enough to have her wet.A story of corruption, fighting against a broken system, and somehow- in the midst of it all- loving others and yourself.

“And if we just told everyone we were, they would all totes be on board. Trust me they stan.”
“They what?” Wednesday was just as confused with the slang as the topic, but Enid stood up and continued as if she was keeping up.
“This would actually be a perfect way to come out as a couple. I could say that we’ve been keeping it under wraps since we all know how you are,” Wednesday stood up and followed her roommate as she began to wander during the explanation of what was unfurling into some sort of teen romance masterplan. “But since we wouldn’t be able to participate in this contest without everyone finding out,” she abruptly turned around, causing the follower to stop short, “BAM! Here we are, world!” Enid beamed.
Finally an adventure without bad guys or danger… or was it?
