Summary
It was at that precise moment that everything clicked into place.
Astarion wasn’t a person.
Vampires look like people. Smell like people. Walk like — actually, Astarion had a recognizable gait, a sort of bounce to his step, not really elven. And it turns out they can talk and act like people too, beautiful people that make your head spin, make you feel as happy and desired as you’ve never been.
But it’s all just an act — an act of predatory mimicry, designed to lure and entice, to make you drop your guard and voluntarily turn yourself into fucking bread.
***
In short: Tav refuses to believe vampires are thinking, feeling people. And if someone is not a person, you don't have to treat them as one. The abuse is strictly psychological, no violence. Consent is seemingly given, only the reader knows it's insincere.

Summary
“Inigo.”
The young man took a measured breath. “Yes.”
“You do realize what it will entail.”
Another breath.
“Yes.”
“Nevertheless, let me remind you. Unless I release you to fulfill your civic duties and filial obligations, then—from the first evening bells till well after the sun rises in the morning—you’ll be mine and mine alone. I will own you. Your mouth, your groin, your delicate hole, your pleasure and your pain—all will be mine to indulge, to do with as I please. So I will ask again. Are you sure?”
Inigo’s muscles flexed. “Yes.” He shivered again. “Master.”
