Summary
You are but a corpse walking among the living.
Your skin is as cold as ice, yet your gaze is as gentle as spring. Or, at least, as the young master described. He was a foolish child. Letting himself be bossed around by his peers despite the fact that The Dark Lord’s corrupt blood runs through his veins.
You ponder at the thought of this ray of sunshine ever being related to the dark lord. You seethe at the fact that those rats in his school had been mistreating him right under your nose.
But don’t let your temper get the best of you, after all, you were his guard now. You are there to serve as his shield, and to fight as his sword.
You might be his guard. But he was yours.
(Basically, a rewrite of sorts. The canon characters are the actual focus though, “you” are just kinda there to give Lloyd some emotional support.)

Summary
You, Muriel Claire (MC), found a mysterious letter inside a box up in the attic of your sick grandmother. Upon anonymously arriving at the named factory, you decided to try and find some clues about the staff that apparently disappeared here years ago, along with collecting some toys you hope to sell.
You should've guessed that the residents of the factory wouldn't give themselves up so easily to a stranger, a trespasser.
Unfortunately for them, you've always managed to see the things with even just the slightest value, a treasure.
